Claydon Launch Dedicated Oilseed Rape Drill

Is this the most cost effective way to establish high yielding Oilseed Rape?

Using the Claydon Patented Seeding Technique the Claydon V Rape Speed drill allows farmers to establish Oilseed Rape directly into the stubble through minimum costs but excellent yields. The dedicated Oilseed Rape drill dramatically reduces diesel, time, metal, labour and horsepower requirements whilst improving soil structure, timeliness and moisture retention, therefore also improving yields

With the Claydon Two Tine Seeding Technique the leading tine breaks through compacted soil at 150mm depth, creating a drainage channel directly below the seeding zone at 600mm row widths. This creates the perfect environment for OSR tap roots to flourish and also ensures that seed is not planted into compacted or waterlogged soil. The second seeding coulter then lifts the soil places the soil in 180mm bands, either side of the drainage channel at the chosen seed depth.
